The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is a luxury hotel located in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Opened on July 2, 2003, it was developed by Boyd Gaming at an initial cost of $1 billion. The property has undergone Borgata Hotel & Spa (Atlantic City) several renovations since its opening and offers luxurious accommodations, upscale dining options, entertainment venues, and recreational activities.
Overview
Borgata is owned by MGM Resorts International, which acquired the company in 2016 from a joint venture between Boyd Gaming, Colony Capital, and Deutsche Bank’s private wealth management division. The hotel has more than 2,000 rooms and suites across six towers: Hotel Tower I & II (600 units), Water Club (1,014 units), Marina Towers (136 units), Renaissance Atlantic City Casino Hotel (500 units, but not part of Borgata), Harrah’s Resort and Caesars Atlantic City are connected properties. The resort features 4,000 slots, 187 tables for poker and other games, a bingo hall with electronic terminals.

While staying within same area there are other hotels like Harrah’s Resort (connected by indoor walkway) Caesars Atlantic City, Renaissance Atlantic city casino hotel which aren’t technically part of Borgata property themselves although sharing some amenities through agreement between these businesses – visitors can easily stroll into from main entrance without going far out.
